We are talking to the post office today about passports and hopefully have that nailed down by next week.
Found a home for the fish and plants (thanks Kim & Paul!) and will drive Squeak to MN in middle November.
We cleaned the bedroom last night and it has made all the difference in the world.
Life is okay....things are swinging........

Yesterday I had jury duty. Never had that before. It was long, and mildly interesting to see what happens when you need to find a jury for a trial. It took them all day to tell me that they didnt need me and I could go home. Wish they would have told me that 3 hours earlier. But I got out of work, read two books, people watched and walked around downtown.
The case was an armed robbery and felony murder....another reason I didnt want to be chosen for the jury. I could handle small crimes, but I dont want to be responsible for putting someone away for life in prison. Ug.
Back to the grind. 51 days left here. Hardly seems real. We had our friend over last night for dinner, Becky, as she spend a year in Ghana. We asked her questions about bank accounts, getting a car, phone books and health insurance and other tips while we are there. I can totally understand why I opted to get so distracted with the bounty hunter business. If I sit and think too long about the fact that three short months I will be flying across the world, I want to start screaming. And that isnt good at work. People think Im weird and bitter enough.
