VERY slow connection..short message today. Went out with Stacey to Brunchie's last night. Pizza...yum. Then to Vasili's Bakery for lattes and treats. They had a northern drum and flute group playing outside. Great to watch. On to Cyberia's movie night: Die Another Day. Bootleg version videotaped in a theatre somewhere, then brought to Asian to add subtitles (couldnt tell if they were Korean or Japanese) then made into a DVD. Problem was, the camera was crooked, so we missed the first conversations with English subtitles, the color was crap, and the movie was cut in half. When they switched to the next disk, we missed about 15 minutes of the movie....nice. Then it stopped abruptly at the end. As the screen turned blue, Jeremy and I both yelled, "What??" Good thing we only paid about a dollar to see that one. Dont know if I will see anymore at Cyberia unless I have more patience for loud patrons and incomplete movies. Went to bank....changed bus tickets...going to call home....then pack for the trip. Fun, fun.

I keep telling Jeremy he needs to be a guest writer on my blogger, but so far he hasnt taken me up on the offer. Hmm...after Xmas I will poke him so those of you connected with him can hear his impressions, instead of just mine. I told him to get a blogger of his own, but I think that will happen when it snows here in Ghana.
Today was a sad day. I've been away from home over the holidays before, but this year its really hard. As I told Jeremy mid-sob, I really do think the main component is the heat. I just cant handle being hot all the time without any real relief and still adapt without freaking out, especially when my heart longs to be home, in the cold, eating comfort sweets and hanging out with the family. If I could just stay cold for one whole day, I would be okay.....instead of just being wet and hot and yucky.
The bus doesnt leave until Tuesday at 6 am, so we are leaving a day later for our trip to Mole. (Mo-lay.) No worries...nothing else really changes. Thats it for now.....just homesick for the holidays.....take care y'all.
