HOT day today. ARgh...having some complications today...overslept, some credit card problems....its a day. Going to the beach with friend Heidi Saturday and will be back on Sunday. Have a good weekend and for all you mothers, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!

Yesterday was mail call. I wrote an email to Erin asking if I could ask her friend Victor, who works at the embassy, to drop off the mail while she was gone. She said fine, so I sent Victor a text message before Jeremy reminded me that Victor's phone was stolen. By some great cosmic stroke of luck, Victor pulled out of the embassy just as Jeremy walked by on his way home. Victor gave him a ride home and as luck would have it, he has all of Erin's (thus our) mail in his trunk. So huge huge thanks to mom, stacy, trish and kristan for all of the packages. It felt like xmas....so many good things. Makes me very happy.
Going to abruni wa-wu today with NIna to look for some pants and button down shirts. I didnt bring many dressy clothes here...mostly comfortable pajama bottoms and t-shirts, and at times I feel rather grubby. Hopefully I can find something today. Still havent decided what to do this weekend....
Ive been on another ant massacre. I thought that when I sprayed the Raid after discovering the anthills in the bedrooms, that I got them all. Then, after I spent $3 on a bag of roasted soy nuts, Jeremy found the bag covered with thousands of ants. I killed as many as possible, and continue to find ants there every day. Dont they know our house is a house of ant death? A few of them bit me today....damn ants.

No sign of watch. Its very hot today. Uninspired to write today.

Lost my watch....darn it. I either left it at a spot down the street (never to be seen again, if I did) or left it on the roof of the compound. Will look up there today.
