To rush through a blog---I've been picking up as many shifts as possible at Noodle, so I've been working consecutive doubles with little time off. Every Saturday I work at the shoe store, and havent heard back from either library job that I've interviewed for.
In the free moments I get, we've gone blueberry picking (which we're doing again for the last time on Thursday, so i can try to make jam for the first time), had a rummage sale (which only made $29), met some neighbors, cleaned the house, watched Jeremy make homemade ice cream three times, and that's about it. Tonight we have free tickets to the symphony, and Thursday after the blueberry extravaganza, we're going to the Atlanta Botanical Gardens to see the Chihuly (a glass blower) exhibit amongst the plants. Otherwise, I work each and every day, usually lunch and dinner.
On the upside, Jeremy found a cheap ticket to Ghana, so he'll be leaving September 16th.
I got an interview at Agnes Scott, this all women's college that I've been coveting since I applied for it last week. She had left a message yesterday, so after work I called and made an appointment to see her on Monday. Im very very very excited, and have been proclaiming to the universe that I Want This Job Very Badly.
Squeak is good, the weather's not too hot, the car is running again, Im finally checking email, and hopefully be able to squeeze in time to see all my friends here that I still havent had a chance to hook up with. Sorry, sorry! Im working too damn much!!
That's it for now.....
