Oh, the pollen is so strong!! My car is covered in a thick yellow powder and after about two minutes outside my nose turns into a faucet, the eyes puff up and the sneezes start. Yup, it's officially allergy season. Today I took my friend Angie around town. She's here for the weekend. We went to the Dekalb Farmer's market for grocery shopping, played games, watched a movie, ate at the Flying Biscuit, tried to go on a tour of the Fox theatre (we waited for an hour and the tour guide didnt show up), strolled through the Botanical Gardens, shopped in Virginia Highlands, looked at huge fancy houses in Inman Park and are now gearing up for dinner. Jeremy's cooking tonight (Chestnut, Mushroom and french lentil ragu with collard green polenta) and then I dont know what we're doing. Tomorrow Angie has to decide if we're going to the Dogwood festival, to Six Flags or to some museums at Emory. She leaves at 3 pm....such a short trip. I keep confusing her time here with Vicki's. Vicki was here about three weeks ago, and I keep thinking, "Oh we did this already...no wait, that was Vicki, not Angie." At least when the folks come at the end of the month we'll be doing totally different stuff and I won't get confused. (Fernbank to see the telescope and the moon, the Atlanta History center, a brewery tour, and lots of eating out.)
