Happy Mother's Day to all of those mamas out there. You are awesome for all of the hard work you do as a parent. Hooray for you! Today was so super productive, we should win a prize. We drove over to Loganville and picked four huge pails of strawberries, made two separate batches of strawberry jam, Jeremy made both strawberry lavendar sorbet and strawberry ice cream, we went grocery shopping, planted four dozen onion bulbs that mom sent me, weeded and fixed up the garden beds, did dishes, made supper and watered the plants. Whoo hoo! Happy birthday to Riley! I love spring! (And strawberries!)

Thanks again to my folks for coming down and visiting us. We had such a good time. I love having them here, although the time goes sooooooo fast. We went all over the place--toured a brewery, visited the Farmer's Market, went to the Atlanta History Center and Swan House, walked around Underground Atlanta, drove up to my library branch and ate out at some nice restaurants. The time with mom and dad made me excited for the time when we live closer. (Hopefully soon!) Its another week at the library. Yesterday some kid peed all over the floor and I had to clean it up. Today some woman sliced her finger open on the toilet paper dispenser and bled all over the place. The library is apparently a dangerous place. We got three new people this week and we'll get two more next week. I tell ya, those extra hands make a world of difference. When I came in on Monday morning, all of the carts were full of books. As of 3 pm on Tuesday, we only have a handful of carts left. Whoo hooo!
